What is a UAS? This stands for Unmanned Aerial System, and includes quadcopters, fixed-wing craft, multicopter, helicopter, any flying machine with a remote control will fall under this certification.
The test itself is about 30 minutes of content with 4 quizzes, which need to be completed to pass the course and get your certificate of completion, which must be shown to the FAA or any law enforcement upon request.
Upon completion of the test recreational flyers should print or save a digital copy of their completion certificate and keep it on their person when they fly.
